These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a contract between you and Paidbon ("Paidbon," "we," "us," or "our"), the seller and operator of the Paidbon application and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization; if you are an individual, you confirm you are of legal age to enter this contract.
1. The Service
Paidbon is a digital receipt wallet that captures, stores, matches, and organizes receipts and proofs of payment, with optional bank connections, AI assistance ("Zoaey"), shared wallets, exports, and merchant tools. Features available to you depend on your plan (Personal, Pro, or Teams) as described on our pricing page.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
3. Acceptable Use
You must not misuse the Service, including by:
- Using it for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or spam;
- Infringing intellectual property rights of others;
- Interfering with the Service's security or integrity, including introducing malware, probing, scanning vulnerabilities, or scraping the Service;
- Reverse engineering, reselling, redistributing, or circumventing technical limits of the Service;
- Uploading content you have no right to use.
For AI features: you are responsible for your prompts and how you use outputs, for verifying their accuracy, and for having rights to any content you submit. AI outputs may be inaccurate and are not a substitute for professional financial, legal, or tax advice. We may remove or restrict content, filter outputs, or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
4. Intellectual Property
We retain all ownership of the Service and its intellectual property, including software, documentation, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service within your selected plan. You retain ownership of receipts and content you upload; you grant us a limited license to host and process that content solely to provide the Service to you.
5. Payments, Subscriptions & Refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Paid plans renew automatically at the interval you select (monthly or yearly) until canceled. Prices are shown at checkout and may be subject to applicable taxes handled by Paddle. You can cancel, upgrade, or downgrade your subscription at any time from Profile → Subscription; plan changes take effect immediately and are pro-rated, and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms, and refunds are described in our Refund Policy.
6. Service Level
We work hard to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. The Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) to the fullest extent permitted by law.
7. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious violations of our policies. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time via our account deletion page. When your account ends, your data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill), and our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not allow it.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date; continued use of the Service after changes means you accept them.
